Starting Wage - $23.00/HR

• Speaks and advocates positive change throughout shop

• Expert level of reading and understanding engineered drawings, schematics and assembly instructions

• Expert knowledge and operation of all tasks in fabrication shop and able to operate all shop equipment independently

• Follow company safety procedures and embrace culture of safety within the shop

• Able to step in wherever needed and completes tasks safely and efficiently

• Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required

• Operates and adjust fabrication equipment to exact standards and specifications

• Has broad knowledge of fabrication techniques used outside of current shop

• Capable of fabricating parts with close and exact tolerances and specification requiring a high degree of skill

• Mentors/Coaches other employees doing related work

• Lead machine maintenance and troubleshooting issues with equipment

• Actively participates in continuous improvement and corrective action activities

• Forward thinking and planning ahead for next assignment

• Creates team environment and trains new employees

• Fabricate or alter parts in a shop or field environment

• Assemble prefabricated parts to form sub-assemblies

• Set example of what it is to be a Somerville employee

• Participation and Involvement in Somerville Safety Program

~ Generally 10+ years experience
